Kingsbarns Golf Links
____________________________________________
Kingsbarns Golf Links is positioned 5th in the world rankings for ‘Must Play Golfing Experiences’, as compiled by Golf World in November 2005. The course was also named ‘Golf Course of the Year’ in the 2006 Scottish Golf Tourism Industry Awards.
While its golf origins date back to 1793, the multi-award-winning Kingsbarns Golf Links only opened in the summer of 2000. It immediately established itself as a links of high regard by co-hosting the annual European Tour’s elite Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, alongside the Old Course and Carnoustie, in 2001. It has subsequently co-hosted the autumn event every year since.
Kingsbarns has become a favourite destination for first-time and returning international and UK golf visitors to St Andrews.
This reputation is based on a combination of playability, dramatic seaside location, classic links turf and staff dedicated to personal service. Designed by Kyle Phillips in collaboration with Mark Parsinen, every hole on this course offers inspiring views of the North Sea.
