The Castle Course
____________________________________________
The Castle Course is the newest addition to St Andrews’ golf offering and was opened in July 2008 by HRH Prince Andrew, Duke of York.
Located two miles along the east coast from St Andrews town centre, this scenic
clifftop course is already creating a great deal of excitement within the UK golf
fraternity. Designed to create a typically Scottish golfing experience, the course
was created by David McLay Kidd, a Scot who has gained worldwide renown
for his work on courses such as Bandon Dunes in Oregon, Nanea in Hawaii and
Queenwood in Surrey.
