Weather halts Champions’ Challenge
July 14th, 2010The Champions’ Challenge which was the curtain raiser for this year’s Championship had to be cancelled due to the weather – the rain hasn’t stopped and its blowing a hoolie! What a great shame as thousands of people had braved the conditions to watch 25 past Open Champions playing holes 1, 2, 17 and 18 in celebration of the 150th anniversary of The Open. We’re just praying that the weather changes in time for the Championship kicking off tomorrow.
